This village overlooking the valley and the calm waters of the Seille is steeped in history: it offers a few curiosities to walkers, but above all calm and serenity to its inhabitants. Cuisery has retained the allure of a medieval village, where the stalls of booksellers and book craftsmen flourish. In July 1999, the village became the4th "Village du Livre en France". Come and browse for a book or an old 33 rpm at the book market held on the first Sunday of every month. Cuisery is also home to the Eden Center, a marina with two pontoons and a tree: a cedar said to have been planted in 1734 by Bernard de Jussieu.
