"Chez La Louise", well known to Clunis locals, has become "Chez Louisette" since the summer of 2023, when Laurence Collaudin took over from Paris, where she worked for many years as a restaurateur in organic salons. On the edge of the abbey church, on the pretty square, this simple bistro-tea room rhymes with conviviality. Sweet and savoury waffles are always there, and the new owner also offers dishes exploring a wide range of products and cereals rarely found on the à la carte menu. Kombucha, artisanal ice creams and homemade beverages are also well represented.

The living room tutoie the sweet chocolate pâtisserie that provides the tables of the small room and the terrace, so that you can enjoy the qualities of the multiple quiches (lorraine, salmon, spinach, roquefort and nuts, broccoli and chèvre, snails and morels…), the salmon pie (6,30 €) or a block in the crust with green salad (4,90 €). The tray formula includes a green salad, 1 quiche, white cheese and the day pastry. Dessert transforms this simple meal into a feast: the treasure, the Métis, the chef, the delicious craquante… you leave it astonishing (and a little ashamed?). Tea is served as a priority.
