The church of Mura has a plan with three naves that shows the architectural contributions of three distinct periods. Originally, the small Romanesque church had only one nave. In the 12th century, the building was enlarged and provided with a semi-circular apse. In the 17th century, a third nave was added, giving the temple its present appearance. But one of its most remarkable elements is undoubtedly the historical tympanum above its portal, presenting a Virgin and Child flanked by two angels, the Magi and Joseph.
