Together with its little sister Paridita, Isla Parida is the only inhabited island in the national park, thanks to the presence of water springs, and it's also the largest. With its varied landscapes and undulating topography, it's an invitation to explore, between beaches lined with lush vegetation and wild coves that seem camouflaged from everyone. According to ancestral Indian beliefs, Parida (which means "to give birth" in Spanish) is the island that gave birth to the other islands in the Gulf of Chiriquí. When it comes to accommodation, you'll find a number of lodges and resorts all built of wood and natural materials.
