At km 9 of the Carretera Costera, Chankanaab is an adventure park established on the seashore, around a large open cenote. It is one of the most popular attractions for tourists, so you will be hard pressed to find any peace and quiet except in the early morning. An ideal place with small children. Organized in the American style, the facilities are not very discreet, but it remains a convincing option to spend the day with the little ones. Snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding, zip line and a botanical garden with 350 plants. Open Monday to Saturday from 8am to 4pm. Admission: US$26 per adult and US$18 per child.
