The Priory Museum offers holiday workshops for children aged 6 to 12, every Wednesday from 21 July to 18 August 2021, at 2pm (duration 2h), children take part in a fun visit and then in a manual workshop. Registration required. Find the program below

Wednesday 21 July - Holiday workshop "Ceramics": Children will discover the earthenware of Jacques and Kira Molin through the exhibition "Reminiscences", as well as their travels and influences. This is an opportunity to explore the history of ceramics and its many uses. They will then make a pot out of raw clay.

Wednesday 31 July - Holiday workshop "Animals": The children will discover the representation of animals in art and what they symbolize. They will then make a clay sculpture.

Wednesday 04 August - Holiday workshop "Draw and win": The children will take part in a giant "Draw and win" competition. They will go from room to room and try to reproduce in drawing the works of the museum, to make their friends find them. During the workshop, they will make a drawing with one line inspired by Li Shuang.

Wednesday, August 11 - "Budding Artists" holiday workshop: They will discover 19th and 20th century paintings and sculptures, as well as the techniques used by the artists. They will then create a drawing based on a detail of an exhibited work.

Wednesday 18 August - Holiday workshop "Landscapes": Children will discover landscape painting from its first appearances to contemporary works. They will then create a painting inspired by Paul Louis Nigaud.
