Hotel Nikko Astraea is located in the middle of the forest. It is the only hotel of its kind in the national park of Nikkō. The hot spring water comes directly from the spring of Nikkō. Its onsen are among the richest sulphurous hot springs in Japan; transparent at the point of gush, they take on mysterious colours such as aqua blue or emerald green in the open air. At night, you can bathe under a starry sky. The hotel is very popular in summer, as the temperatures remain mild.
