The village of Volax is located in a unique landscape, almost out of a science fiction movie, and punctuated by strange granite boulders. They are impressive in their majesty but also a little scary. Take a walk through this amazing village where there is also a beautiful open-air theater, built in 1977. Volax has been largely abandoned due to the rural exodus: many traditional houses are now in ruins, but the locals had the ingenious and poetic idea of inscribing verses of lost poets on the stones that remain. It is a touching and almost sacredly beautiful sight.
