Haad Yuan Bay is accessible by longtail boat from Haad Rin Nok. It can also be reached by a (long) path through the mountains. This magnificent, secluded beach retains the bohemian atmosphere of the 1980s. Wooden pontoons allow you to walk along the rocks, and a few spartan bungalows are scattered around the bay. It's also the site of a select Sunday evening event, the Lost Paradise, with its cutting-edge musical program. The clientele is older than that of the Full Moon Parties, and mostly made up of local expats. Check with those living on Koh Phangan.
