Small town whose heart has little more than two blocks. The strategic location of Buffalo, at the intersection of the two major axes of the State, I -25 and I -90, and the crossing of departmental roads 14 and 16, makes it an important crossing point. If you are in this part of the state, there is a chance that wherever you go, your road will lead you there. Buffalo does not shy away, but has an interesting historical heritage near emblematic sites such as Fort Phil Kearny or, later, the small community that gave its name to the Hole-in-the-Wall Gang and sheltered Butch Cassidy's Wild Bunch and Kid. Take a moment also to stroll along the main street lined with historic buildings. The most famous is the Occidental Hotel whose guided tours will lead you to the heart of its fascinating, sometimes scary history.
