BAHRAIN FORT MUSEUM

Built on an artificial platform, this 2,000 square meter museum blends Arab traditions and modernity. The exhibits have been designed to tell the great epic of the fortress. A large part of the ancient and more contemporary pieces found under the tell of Qal'At Al Bahrain are displayed in 6 distinct spaces, arranged around the "wall of history", a reproduction of the stratified archaeological layers of the site. It gives a good overview of the tell and the hard work of archaeologists to excavate such complex basements.
