A subdued and warm atmosphere is at the rendezvous in this restaurant which proposes a menu with multiple Latin influences: Mexico, Peru, Argentina... A varied and very tasty cuisine.aro is above all a meeting place for the locals, who like to meet along the huge wooden bar, chat with the barman and nibble on small plates or larger dishes - many of which are guaranteed gluten-free, such as paella - while sipping a margarita. Decent food in Pasadena, a bit overpriced for what you get. The Baja tacos were pretty good. We sat outside, which was nice. Staff was friendly but service was slow when we went and they never came back to fill our waters.

Fantastic customer service here. They are usually very attentive, pleasant, respectful, and expedient. I was able to request the freshly made corn tortillas with cilantro, which I recommend with the queso fundido and chorizo. Their tacos de Birria are legit!! I recommend you try those, above all else. My husband asked for a replacement for the fish and they were able to accommodate. The servers were quite helpful with my mom as she uses a walker. They are also bilingual, which is a plus.
Pro tip: they have platanos fritos con crema and frijol (fried plantains with cream and beans). You just need to ask. I'm sorry I didn't take a pic. I will next time.

Wow, this place was really a great find! We got the Casillitas and Snapper and it was soooo good! The fish was super delicate and the ribs were very tender, and I came with a large serving of veggies too! Also the Brussels sprouts were so addicting, def coming back!
