Halfway between Dakar and Blaise Diagne airport, Bargny is a little-known seaside town, but very charming, which offers all its authenticity to travelers who take the time to stop there. Here, you will not find street vendors, but pleasant people wanting to spend a good time talking. Extending to Rufisque, the white sand beach is very peaceful for a nice walk. You can also enjoy the return of the fishermen. Unfortunately, a cement factory spoils the landscape a bit... Bargny is now served by the TER from Dakar, which will join Blaise Diagne airport a priori at the end of 2023.
