The first major destination on the south road from N'Djamena, towards Moundou and Sarh, Bongor represents an important city. On the journey is an interesting flora (acacias, eucalyptus, nimiers…) on a soil in dry appearance. Large, very little tree-tree stretches out of sight, where sheep herds graze the remains of the previous harvest. Pau, distinguishes itself from a few painted squares. As far as wildlife is concerned, it is easy to cross camels lazily and mules in their white robes, a rather pleasant spectacle! The table of this crossing can be completed by small ponds that attract birds and few rare fishermen.
