Borg is a small town in the north of the Lofoten Islands. The town is famous for its lovely Lofotr Viking Museum, an exact reconstruction of a Viking village based on archaeological excavations. The museum allows us to immerse ourselves in Viking life as it was over 1,000 years ago. Around Borg, men and women farm the land and still produce their own cheese and meat. A small town that's sure to be on your route (right on the E10) and well worth stopping off for a few hours for the museum or more in the surrounding area.
