The village of Salisbury is located in the center of the west coast, almost halfway between Dominica's two largest towns: Roseau (20 kilometers to the south) and Portsmouth (25 kilometers to the north). You'll find accommodation of various categories in the vicinity, as well as diving centers right on the black sand beach. Segment No. 9 of the Waitukubuli National Trail can be reached from Salisbury. The 185 km-long WNT comprises 14 segments that take you from the north to the south of Dominica. Some trails are more accessible than others, with steep gradients.
