A small hamlet of just over 500 inhabitants, part of the Ribera d'Ebre region, Garcia was originally an Iberian village before being transformed into a Roman villa. Later, the Saracens occupied it before the Reconquest orchestrated by Ramón Berenguer IV. You will quickly get to know this small village: its primitive church was almost completely destroyed during the Spanish Civil War, which caused great damage to the area. At 7 km from the village, the hermitage of Santa Maria Magdalena (18th century), perched on a rock face, is worth a visit or a walk or bike ride
