In this intimate place with red and white walls and stone vaults, partly dug in the rock, Filomena welcomes you warmly and tells you about the dishes of the day that she prepares with love and generosity. The menu is faithful to the culinary traditions of Calitri, with a few touches of originality here and there, and the raw materials are local. A must: the cannazze of Calitri, short pasta with holes in the middle, served with a tomato sauce or al ragù. Very good home-made desserts.

Per la prima volta sono stata a pranzo in questo posto, un locale meraviglioso, una grotta in pietra arredata con gusto in chiave moderna. Locale molto accogliente, così come il personale tutto e la signora Filomena che ci ha serviti. Si trova tra i vicoli del centro storico di Calitri, seguendo le indicazioni si trova abbastanza facilmente.
Si possono gustare cibi tipici della cucina calitrana come le mitiche cannazze e le braciole, sapientemente cucinati, così come faceva la mia nonna. Ottime anche le patate con i peperoni cruschi.
Il parcheggio si può trovare con facilità su strada, con soli 2 minuti a piedi tra i meravigliosi vicoli si raggiunge il locale.
Non vedo l’ora di tornarci, molti complimenti!

Great, real authentic Italian experience. The food, which for us consisted of pasta (a local recipe), was delicious. The atmosphere in restaurant itself was cozy and pleasant. On top of that the staff and owners of the restaurant were very friendly and helpful people. Definitely recommend going here!
