Takarazuka is a city of 230,000 inhabitants, located 30 minutes by train from Ingaka and Kōbe (lines Hankyu and JR). His name can translate into "the treasures hill". With the opening of the railway during the Meiji era, the city became a popular destination with local tourists for its many onsen. Unfortunately, they have almost all closed today. The city was ranked number 1 in the category of culture and artistic city of Japan in 2017. Indeed, it hosts a famous theater composed only of women, giving all year round majestic performances of musicals. Osamu Tezuka, creator of Astro Boy's famous manga and cartoon character, has spent his youth. The city organizes nearly 150 cultural events throughout the year.
