Also known as Rabós de l'Empordà, this tiny village of less than 200 inhabitants was totally dedicated to vine-growing before the phylloxera epidemic wiped out the vineyards and the population. Of particular interest is the Romanesque parish church of Sant Julià de Rabós, fortified in the 14th century. It's also an ideal base for exploring the natural beauty of the Massif de l'Albera, rich in megalithic monuments. Nearby are the mas Roquer menhir (3,000 BC), the Coma de Fells dolmen and the Comes Llobes dels Pils dolmen.
