Belvaux is part of the municipality of Sanem. It adjoins the Belval site to the west and the French border to the south. As Belval's development progresses, shops, restaurants and accommodation are gradually being set up in the town center, adding to what is already on offer in neighbouring towns and villages. Belvaux's only attractions are the numerous hiking and biking trails, as well as the "A Gadder" cultural and historical museum (10, rue de France). This museum exhibits various objects and images documenting the region's industrial past and the history of the commune.
