It is here that the eastern part of the country culminates, at some 1,652 meters, with Mount D'Iberville, which is part of the great mountain range that is the Torngat Mountains. Located in the subarctic region, in the heart of the Inuit country, its spectacular landscapes of fjords cut by glaciers, its imposing mountains with their sawtooth peaks and its incredible wildlife (polar bears, caribou...) make its reputation. To get there, you have to reach Nain, which is only accessible by plane or ferry, and take the services of a guide because it is impossible to get there otherwise. It is therefore necessary to plan a consequent budget, but the game is worth the candle!
