Rio Blanco Park, nicknamed Cascades Park by some, is today managed by the inhabitants of the surrounding villages of Santa Cruz and Santa Elena, and covers a small area of 2 km². The park's flora and fauna are of particular interest, with traces of jaguars, ocelots, margays and ocelots, as well as river otters. Located 40 km from Punta Gorda, it's an easy day trip from the district capital, by bus or car. You can also choose to stay in the surrounding villages, which are part of our homestay program(see "San Antonio" section).
