If you start a tour of Srimongal with a guide, you can be sure that it will take you to Manipuri Para. The village is first known for its tissages on textbooks, and it is an opportunity to explore the ethnic minority of the Manipuri. On the other hand, the main street is lined with small shops selling souvenirs to passing tourists. You will find beautiful fabrics, cushion covers, pleas or trousses kits. Some also sell objects made of woven bamboo, including very beautiful offal-days. Negotiate firmly, because advertised prices are generally much higher than the actual value of objects.
