Pomonte, or Post Montem as the Romans called it, seems to be hidden "behind the mountain". It is located on the Costa del Sole between Fetovaia and Chiessi. This seaside resort, with its beautiful pebble beach with free access, also called spiaggia Le Scalette, is equipped with many nautical infrastructures (windsurfing, kitesurfing, diving...). The site is also popular with divers because, just a few meters from the shore, lies the wreck of theElviscott. And for those who prefer to laze until late on the beach, nature offers breathtaking sunsets when the star dives behind neighbouring Corsica.
