The town is known by the same name in Albanian (Klinë/Klina) and Serbian (Клина/Klina). It has a population of 5,500 and is the capital of the municipality of the same name (38,000 inhabitants, 96% Albanians). Klina is located 30 km east of Peja/Peć, 35 km northeast of Gjakova/Đakovica.Located at the confluence of the Klina River and the White Drin, this small town is marked by the architecture of the socialist period and has a few restaurants. Klina was for a long time mixed with Serb, Roma and Bosnian inhabitants who represented 25% of the population before the Kosovo war. Today it is a stronghold of the Albanian Catholic community, as evidenced by the monumental Church of Our Lady of Good Counsel (2011), although Muslims remain a large majority (70%). The seven modern mosques of the city are not particularly interesting. On the other hand, the surroundings of Klina are worth a visit with the Serbian Orthodox Church of St. John the Baptist of Crkolez (14th century) and the magnificent waterfalls of the Mirusha. The village of Zllakuqan/Zlokućane (6 km northwest), meanwhile, is home to another large Catholic church and a water complex. In Dërsnik/Drsnik (3.5 km to the southeast) there is the Serbian Orthodox Church of St. Paraskeva (16th century), whose frescoes have recently been restored. It is also in this village that a Roman site was discovered in 2013 by a team of French archaeologists. But this one is not the subject of any development for the visits
