Bad Düben, a small spa town of 8 500 inhabitants, all the north of Saxony, on the border with Brandenburg, extends to the edge of the largest forest in this part of Germany: the Dübener Heide. The Düben Heide forest, which forms the natural park of the Dübdener Heide, extends over very sandy and very fertile soil. It is a mixed mixed forest, which leaves the share beautiful to pines, oaks, birch, beech, frènes, maple. A maze of trails passes through, and the forest, in hilly areas and strewn with beautiful clearings, is a dream place for hiking. Very authentic and rural, the landscapes invite tranquillity and serenity. The beautiful little town, with beautiful old houses, some of which date from the Renaissance, a beautiful location on the edge of the Mulde and tranquillity all thermal, free from modern laideurs, provides a good base for visiting.
