This small village of fishermen rather poor is from now on on on all the lips of the locals as well as the Peruvian and foreign tourists. Indeed, a colony of green turtles has elected to live near its pier which advances towards the sea and one can thus come to observe them and even swim or dive with them. We advise you to go with an agency that practices a reasonable ecotourism and not to feed them, because many agencies do not respect the natural habitat of the turtles and feed them with anything. The popularity of the place has been detrimental to the tranquility of the turtles for some years, but the magic still works. A great experience.
