The Allée des Baobabs is one of the region's most beautiful landscapes... not to be missed if you come to the area. In a superb landscape, tall baobabs of a variety unique in the world(Adansonia grandidieri) follow one another, majestically, to infinity. The best time to take photographs is when the horizon blazes pink and blue at sunset, and the shadows of the baobabs lengthen and are reflected in the marshes. Superb shots guaranteed. But for the more courageous, the first hours of the day are no less fascinating. Continuing along the "American Trail", past a succession of pink and purple flowering ponds, a natural poem comes to life: the "Baobab trees in love", so called because they are tenderly entwined (about 6 km from the Baobab Alley). If you have time, we recommend continuing on to Kivalo and Mangily, less well-known but also well worth a visit. To get to the Allée des Baobabs, 15 km down the road from Tana, you'll easily find a 4x4, quad or motorcycle in Morondava. This is, so to speak, the city's flagship excursion. If you're returning from the Tsingy, a stop here is always in order.Store, café and parking. 2,000 Ar per vehicle. The site was completely refurbished in 2018, at parking level, with a café/buvette, souvenir store and toilets. It's all managed by an NGO that has integrated local residents 100% into the organization of the site (that's rare enough in Mada to be worth highlighting!).
