Laamu Gan is one of the longest islands in the Maldives. There are extraordinary traces of the Maldivian past such as the ruins of a Buddhist temple. Although poorly preserved, traces of these ancient times are rare enough to be noted and appreciated. Due to its size, the beaches of this island are incredible and the sunsets and sunrises breathtaking. The island is large enough to accommodate a domestic airport, which greatly reduces the cost compared to flying by seaplane. A few guest houses have opened and you will find everything you need on the island: restaurants, cafes and shops.
