8 kilometers west of Chivay, Coporaque has kept its air of a quiet rural village and offers a pleasant break for those who prefer a more authentic stay away from the tourist crowds. With its 3,500 meters of altitude and its beautiful walks, it is our favorite in Colca. The 3 beautiful stone pools of Sallihua add to the charm. You can also do tourism in the homes of local people, for a different experience and beautiful moments of sharing. Some of the larger and more luxurious hotels have their own hot springs. The only drawback is that it will take a little longer to reach the Cruz del Condor.
