A tiny village where the wind blows strong, just before la Cruz del Condor on the road linking Chivay in Cabanaconde. All public buses go there. At some 3 800 meters of altitude it is a little colder than elsewhere but there also calm and authenticity. It is the ideal starting point to go to the foot of the Huaca Huaca (or climb it, with equipment) or to the geysers below. The nearest Mirador skyline below the village allows you to see, on your right, the valley of the Colca and its terraces and on your left, the beginning of the famous canyon. Count 2 hours of round trip.
