In the heights, it is a crossroads village placed at the crossroads of the roads that go down towards the South-East, the West and Port Mathurin. It is therefore not surprising that it has one of the three rare gas stations on the island in addition to those in the capital and at the airport. A covered market is held every day in the heart of the village in a recent building bordered by a large parking lot. From 7am, you can buy fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, etc. During the week, it happens that the place is a bit empty in the afternoon. It is better to come on Saturday morning when the market gardeners take possession of the place and the kebab sellers set up at the crossroads.
