187 km south of Lima, on the Cañete River, this is the favorite adventure destination of Limenians: sunny, with pisco tastings, good food and a river that offers rafting routes from beginner to expert. If you have a car, it is a perfect stop on the way to the Reserva Nor Yauyos. The small town is full of agencies that offer rafting tours and other excursions. From the Plaza de Armas you can also go to the top of the village for a panoramic view of the valley, ideal at sunset or at least when the sun is not at its zenith. Bring mosquito repellent in the region.
