Things to see are concentrated at the corner of Nord Center St and E Mazon St. There are two 1906 cells, a restored street car, and two World War II memorials. The cells are accessible 24 hours a day. The street car dates from the 1920s-30s. It was placed in Gardner in 1932, and then sat from 1955 to 2010 near the Riviera Restaurant on Route 66 between Gardner and Braceville. The first memorial is dedicated to Reverend Christian Christiansen (1859-1947), who officiated in Gardner, and his contribution against Nazism. The second was erected by the American Legion in memory of the people of Gardner.
