Valentine, an almost ghost town, is only a crossing point on Route 66. His name was given to him in honour of Robert G. Valentine, Commissioner of Indian Affairs from 1910 to 1908. An Indian school was established there (Valentine Indian School) from 1900 to 1910, before becoming a post office. She was close to the school for "non-Indian". A little before the arrival of Valentine, on the right of Highway 66, a very beautiful wildlife refuge, the Keepers of the Wild Nature Park. The canyon in which the town is located is the Crozier Canyon, a beautiful geological formation.
