Grove is a small town located on the eastern shore of Lake O'The Cherokees, twelve miles south of Afton and Route 66. People come here for the lake, of course, but also to visit the Har-Ber Village Museum, a recreation of American history. On the southwestern shore of the gigantic 170 km² body of water, the Pensacola Dam is considered the longest multi-arch dam in the world, its main span composed of 51 arches totaling 1,568 m in length, supports the OK-28. A 120-megawatt power plant is located at the end. From there, the Neosho River flows to the Arkansas River.
