Travel Guide Józefów

Located on the banks of the Nepryszka River, at the gateway to the Roztoczanski Nature Park, the village of Józefów was founded at the beginning of the 18th century by Tomasz Józef Zamoyski (still him). The village is not very impressive, but it is its setting and the many possibilities it offers that attract Poles. Two leisure centers offer great opportunities for water sports just outside the village. As the cycling capital of Poland, there are many trails to explore the surrounding area and to immerse yourself in the Polish countryside. Two places worth exploring are Czartowe Pole and Nad Tanwią with a series of waterfalls in the middle of the forest.
