Travel Guide Iririki Island

Iririki small island just in front of the port of Port Vila. It was once inhabited, at the time of the condominium, by British residents. It was also the place where the wounded and sick were treated (at Patton Hospital, abandoned since independence). Today, the island is a paradise for holidaymakers, thanks to its hotel complex located only a few minutes by boat from the centre of Port-Vila. It is possible to spend the day there if you are not a customer by purchasing a 1,500 VT voucher from the shuttle boat. The voucher can be used on the island for the purchase of drinks, food or kayak rental. The shuttle is picked up next to the market.
