35 beaches of white, black or golden sand surround San José. It is a wild and hilly island, the second largest of the archipelago, covered with an abundance of vegetation with rivers and waterfalls of pure water. It is still possible to observe many birds and mammals: iguanas, sloths, deer, agoutis, armadillos, ñeques or anteaters... If, in its past, it was used as a place for testing chemical weapons for the American army (around 1947), today its scenery lends itself wonderfully to the filming of reality TV shows such as Survivor. It will also be your destination if you choose the luxury of the Hacienda del Mar
