This charming city, located between Destin and Panama City Beach, still unknown to tourists, is not to be missed for its large and superb preserved beaches but also for its originality! Indeed, it was founded in 1981 by a rich real estate developer who dreamed of a city where all houses would be identical, where there would be no insecurity and where all families would be happy. In this, Seaside is reminiscent of the city of Celebration, also in Florida. This perfect world even inspired the directors of the movie The Truman Show (1998) with Jim Carrey and it is in Seaside that most of the movie was shot.
