MALAMBE CAMP

One of the cheapest camps in Cape Maclear, very popular with backpackers. The rudimentary little reed huts are pretty but sometimes look like ovens... Their occupants share toilets and showers with campers and dormitory enthusiasts. Deckchairs are available to enjoy the view of the lake. On-site catering (count 1 to 3,000 MWK per dish) and possibility of using the kitchen (500 MWK/person/day). Bicycles for rent (5 US$ for half a day and 8 US$ for the whole day).
