Travel Guide Madrigal

A passage by the small village of Madrigal will be the occasion to go to see the fortress of Chimpa located at 4 km of the main Plaza. The village is located on the other side of the canyon, in its less touristic part. It will be the occasion to have another perspective. The thermal waters of Harpuñay, located in the canyon, can be reached in about 2 hours of walking, it is better to go with a local guide. There is also a small church, San Santiago de Madrigal, which is very pretty but rarely open. There are other sites around the village, but confidential and still difficult to access.
