The ensemble consists of one of the most striking landscapes of El Salvador and Central America. Traditions are well preserved, adventure is not a vain word and the population is particularly welcoming.This 4 500-hectare national park consists of the Santa Ana volcano (2 365 metres), the beautiful Izalco volcano and Cerro Verde volcano (2 035 metres); the latter is a national park alone.The park houses a cloud forest, an altitude steppe, an astonishing growing vegetation on the volcanic lava, pasture pastures and endless coffee plantations. The cypress trees, which can reach 40 metres high, attract a look.
