Center offering free courses in painting, drawing and more to young people, enabling them to express themselves through art
The art center was created to enable young people to express themselves through art (and not through violence). Young people can take free courses in painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, pottery... Some of them even manage to sell their work. The workshop itself is well worth a visit. First, there's the main house, over a hundred years old, which serves as an exhibition gallery for students' work. Then there's a colonial patio, where the photographs are displayed, and a wonderful flower-filled garden where the sculptures are exhibited. From a shady terrace, there's a breathtaking view of the Puerta del Diablo on one side, and the center of town on the other.
