The village of Panchimalco, an indigenous bill, deserves a glance, especially for its beautiful colonial church. The centre of the village has been restored and the studio of the painter Miguel Angel Ramirez is worth a visit. In front of the workshop you can visit the Maison de la culture (also in a former colonial house). Here are the traditions of this Mayan people. An old lady shows how people were portrayed in the Maya, and she taught the know-how to many women, including children to perpetuate tradition. The Salvadoriens Coloris agency is the only one to offer excursions. This village is certainly one of El Salvador's best-kept cultural treasures, a beautiful surprise that is really worth a visit. It celebrates its patron saint on 13 and 14 September, the village being very lively. On the first Sunday in May, the indigenous people perpetuated the tradition of the procession of Las Palmas, a ceremony whose aim was to promote future harvests. If you have the opportunity to be in the village at that time, don't miss it.
