In Monteverde, Sabine is known for being the first to offer horseback riding. There are different tours for all levels: classic in the countryside, to the waterfalls or in a canyon for more adrenaline. Two special tours: once a month for the moon and with ponies for young children. A three-day hike is also offered that takes you into the backcountry, waterfalls, and hot springs. Sabine speaks French, which makes things easier, especially for a first experience.

I am an experienced Horseback Rider. Not only I have been impressed by the performance of the horse during the ride, but the care they get is beyond any expectations and truly worth flying to Costa Rica and ride more than just one day. There is accomodation on the farm as well. Live with the horses here. You won't regret it. I'll come back soon.
