Babaomby is located on the shores of the Emerald Sea: a beautiful site, ideal for kitesurfing and windsurfing in season (May - end of October especially). As a result, a number of good-quality lodges have opened recently. You can get there in around 45 min/1 h by speedboat from Ramena and, given the beauty of the place, we recommend spending several nights here. This Emerald Sea is still relatively unspoilt by tourism. The lagoon's turquoise hue is due to its shallow water and sandy bottom. The sea is separated from the Indian Ocean by a coral reef and islets.
