An artist's island in the heart of Kortrijk put on research and artistic creation to find the animation that reigned in the area in the s. This idea, born of the perspective of "Lille 2004" in artistic and cultural development, is the work of Kurt Vanbelleghem, the conductor and artistic director of this beautiful initiative. Supported by major cultural structures such as in Kortrijk, the Antigone Theatre, Happy New Ears and the Limelight Art Centre, creation spaces, dance and actors studios, exhibition halls, a cinema opened their doors to create new fields for artistic creation.
