Museum of 15th and 16th century works, hosting the Center for Tapestry, Wall and Fabric Arts
Tapestry is a centuries-old specialty of Tournais. The museum houses works from the 15th and 16th centuries as well as contemporary creations, notably by Dubrunfaut, Somville and Deltour, members of the "Forces Murales" group, which breathed new life into the art of tapestry. The museum houses the Centre de la tapisserie, des arts muraux et des arts du tissu (Tamat), as well as a restoration workshop. Scholarship students regularly exhibit silkscreens, sculptures and paintings.
